Homemade Mayonnaise

Four years back, I got this recipe from my dearest friend, Reenu's mother. It is a good appetizer. It can be used in salads, coleslaw etc. Flavoring can be done by adding lemon juice.


Egg                              - 2 No:s
Mustard Powder         - 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar                       -2 teaspoon
Salt                              -1/2 teaspoon
Pepper                         -1/2 teaspoon
Sugar                           -1 teaspoon-
Refined Oil                  -2 Cups (I used sunflower oil)


Beat the eggs till light and fluffy.

Add pepper, salt, sugar, mustard powder, vinegar and beat again for a few minutes

Slowly add oil and beat at low speed and blend till thick.

Store in refrigerator after consumption.

* Since no preservatives are added, keep under refrigerator and consume within two, three  days. The eggs used must of good quality.
