Stained glass almond cookies are some ornamental cookies. Eggnog (non alchoholic and cooked egg version) is a Christmas drink. Buche de Noel is a cake served for Christmas. In my upcoming posts, you can find more Christmas recipes.

Ingredients:
6 cups of water
1 piece of mace
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of craisins

Method:
In a sauce pan, boil 6 cups of water and take off from heat. Put cranberries inside and close the lid. Set aside for one hour till craisins are plumed.

Take the plumed craisins out of the water. Take 2 cups of juice (from the previously boiled water with craisins soaked), sugar and mace. Place everything in another sauce pan and boil it, stirring continuously. Take off from heat when you reach the desired consistency.

This is like a jam that can be used with breads and biscuits. We served it with soft dinner rolls. After use, keep refrigerated and can be used further and love it again and again…. :-)
